Warmer Weekend #23: Labor Day Weekend 2014 pt. 2
The second part of my trip for Labor Day has 3 parts:
1. Fishing
2. Cleaning Fish
3. Four Wheeling Adventuring aka Mushroom Photography
We were out on the lake for a good chunk of the day fishing, eating sandwiches and enjoying the lovely weather.
Once we got back to the cabin the cleaning started! Look at all the fruits of our labor. They'll make for some delicious dinner, that's for sure.
To finish the trip up we had to get one four-wheeler ride in. It rained most of the time we were up there, so we went on an adventure for all the mushrooms that popped up and took photos. Can't wait to bust out the mushroom book and figure out what all of these are!
Had to get a photo to show the scale. These mushrooms had grown together and were huge!
Oh our way home we stopped at this gorgeous rest area. We've stopped here before and love it. It has some walking trails, and even a place to launch your boat into the river. People were fishing off the bank, but we had our fill of that for the weekend. ;)
